Feria de San Antonio

The Fiesta de San Antonio takes place from June 9th to 13th and the festivities begin on Wednesday June 9th, Día del Niño, with the attractions at half price. The programme of events is:

Wednesday June 9th

19:00 – Caseta Municipal (Plaza de las Tres Culturas) – Election of the Reina and Mister Infantil

Thursday June 10th

17:00 – Caseta Municipal (Plaza de las Tres Culturas) – Women’s Day Lunch with performance by Dúo Compás

22:30 – Caseta Municipal (Plaza de las Tres Culturas) – Grand Gala for the Feria Queen with performances by Academia de baile de Elena, Erika an Raúl René, members of the group Little Less with an acoustic set, and a performance by Jonathan.

Friday June 11th

17:00 – Barriada de San Antonio – bicycle races, sack races and other popular games and pursuits. Foam festival!

18:00 – Caseta Municipal (Plaza de las Tres Culturas) – Seniors event with a meal with a performance by Celestino Sala.

22:00 – Caseta Municipal (Plaza de las Tres Culturas) – Music and dancing with Alalba and Alfonso Moreno.

Saturday June 12th

08:00 – ‘Encierro de vaquillas’ (bull running) along calle Real.

12:30 – (Plaza de las Tres Culturas) – Various music and dance performances and FREE PAELLA FOR EVERYONE.

22:00 Caseta Municipal (Plaza de las Tres Culturas) – Performance by Alalba and Alfonso Moreno.

Sunday June 13th

12:00 – Mass in honour of the patron saint, San Antonio de Padua, accompanied by the choir ‘Peña la Amistad’

12:30 – Procession through the streets and ending up down by the river.

14:30 – Performance by Plácido

18:00 – Various equestrian competitions with prizes.

22:00 – Caseta Municipal (Plaza de las Tres Culturas) – Performance by Alalba

00:30 – Firework display and end of the feria.
